"After being frustrated with trying to find tools that were subtle enough to finesse the smallest turn of a lip, or curve around the soft edge of an eyelid, I decided to create some tools of my own. These sculpture tools are made by hand, with full attention made to the quality and craftsmanship of each piece. Enjoy!"

The hardwood modeling tools are sourced from a variety of exotic hardwoods, including: ash; ebony; cocobolo; hickory, among others. Each tool is carved, shaped, finished and waxed by hand, so some variations may occur. Each tool is approximately 7" - 8.5" in length.

The finishing rake tools are made with either a fine, medium or combination gauge wire. These rakes are exceptional for removing clay from small, delicate areas with either a small "tooth", expressing little texture, or with a medium "tooth" that is helpful for creating hair textures or exposing the tooling "hand" of the sculptor on the surface of the piece. Each tools is approximately 7" in length.

The "S-shaped" hardwood tool was created after a sculptor asked for a custom-made tool with a small, finely tapered tip with some flexibility that would enable him to reach into very delicate areas. Thus the "S-shape" was born. Since these tools take more time and skill to create, the price is slightly higher. Each tool is approximately 7'" in length.

The hand-stitched leather tool wrap is made from soft, hand-cut leather calfskins. Meant to last and last, the tool wrap feels soft to the touch and good in the hand, and treats your precious tools with the care they deserve. Measurements of the tool wrap are: 18" x 18" (18" x 10" when the flap is folded over). Colors may vary according to availability.
